Licensing and use of photographs

Your agreement gives you, and the people it names, a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual license to use the edited photographs we deliver for personal, non-commercial purposes. That includes printing them at any size through any printer, making albums and cards, sharing them online and on social media, and giving copies to family and friends for the same purposes. Your agreement may name more, such as save-the-dates, a senior's yearbook or birth announcements. You may crop a photograph.

The license does not allow selling the photographs, using them to advertise a product or a business, entering them in contests, licensing them to anyone else, or altering them with filters or other editing. Copyright stays with Lavender Bouquet Photography; your agreement does not transfer it.

We use a photograph in which you can be recognized in our portfolio, on this website, on social media, in printed promotion or in a submission to a publication only if you have said yes, and a parent or guardian answers for a child under 18. No answer means no. You can change your answer at any time in your client hub or by writing to us; your agreement says what then happens to photographs already published.

Venues, planners, florists, bakers, musicians and the others who worked on the day may use photographs from it that we have sent them, on their own websites and social accounts, to show their work, provided the post credits Lavender Bouquet Photography and, online, links to this site or tags our account. Share the files as we sent them, without filters, re-edits or crops that remove the credit. Paid advertising, print advertising, publications and contests need our written permission first; we usually say yes and we ask to be credited.

Photographs on this website may not be copied, downloaded, reproduced, embedded or used in any way without our written permission. Search engines and social platforms may show a thumbnail that links back here. Publications and blogs wishing to feature a wedding should write to us; we will ask the couple first.
