Scheduling a winter wedding in South Dakota (or the Midwest for that matter) is no simple feat. The ideal setting is a soft blanket of snow on the ground, little to no wind (<10mph), 30 degrees F, and maybe a gentle snow flurry just in time for outdoor couple's portraits. Amanda was hoping for some snowy wedding photos, and while there wasn't a blanket of snow over the entire acreage, there was a proverbial picnic blanket of snow on the northwest side of the Barn that did the trick. It was a bit colder than 30 and the wind was a little brisk, but Amanda and Kyle braved it for a hot (cold?) minute (er, five minutes?) for some beautiful photos.
